Switchio is a division of MONET+, an industry leader in security identity and electronic payment solutions. Over the past two decades we have brought secure identification via chip and public key infrastructure to large banks and state organisations, and our technology is behind many large digital services used by millions of users each day.
The past
Our experience in electronic payment solutions goes back to 1996, when we bet on chip-based payment cards as the way of the future and created the first electronic wallet in Czechia. Over time we have expanded our competence in providing electronic payment solutions and ultimately developed the Switchio software platform for managing bank card transactions.
The present
Today our platform manages more than 60,000 payment terminals with millions of transactions per day, lowering costs for service providers in public transport, retail and parking, and optimizing customer satisfaction and comfort.
As cash continues to decline, a comprehensive platform for processing electronic payments is a must-have.
